John F. Kennedy and Tamara S. Clower have 36 and 19 years of experience defending and consulting on the defense of claims and suits brought against individuals and private and governmental entities. They have defended cases in many of the counties of Western and Eastern Washington for standard and surplus line insurance carriers and self insured entities and risk pools. These cases involve a wide range of personal injury and wrongful death cases including cases involving auto, commercial transportation, construction, premises liability and products and products defects.

Kennedy Law also has extensive experience in employment discrimination, police misconduct/civil rights and professional liability litigation.

John F. Kennedy is a member of the invitation only International Association of Defense Counsel and a former Regional Vice President of the Defense Research & Trial Lawyers Association (DRI).

Kennedy has been a speaker and presenter on a wide variety of defense topics for claims associations, insurance carriers, and risk pools.

Kennedy has also spoken and written extensively for national seminars on the defense of employment discrimination, sexual harassment, police misconduct, whistle blower/retaliation claims, prosecutorial misconduct and general municipal and supervisory liability under Section 1983.

These presentations have included presentations to the Practicing Law Institute, the Georgetown University Section 1983 national seminar, the National District Attorneys Association, the International Association of Defense Counsel Annual Meeting, the Association of Defense Trial Attorneys, the Washington Municipal Attorneys Association, the Washington State Association of Prosecuting Attorneys, the Washington Counties Risk Pool, the Washington State Bar Association and Mercer University Law School FRCP 68 Symposium in Macon, Georgia.

Tamara S. Clower emphasizes in her defense practice cases involving auto, commercial transportation, construction, premises liability and products and products defects.

Ms. Clower's defense practice also includes insurance coverage and appeals. Ms. Clower's published appellate cases include: Minahan v. Western Fair Association, et al., 117 Wash. App. 881 (2003); Marshall v. Bally's West, et. al. 94 Wash.App.372 (1999).

Ms. Clower is integrally involved in all of the firm's litigation.
