ATTORNEY PROFILE

Deborah A. Kennedy, Esq. was born and raised in the State of Rhode Island where she graduated law school in 1997 at Roger Williams Law School, Bristol, Rhode Island.  Her undergrad degree was earned in 1990 – Graduated Cum Laude with a major in Accounting and a minor in Business Administration/Finance.
She was admitted to the State of Massachusetts in 1998 and in Rhode Island in 2002 and in 2003 was admitted to the Federal courts each state.  She was admitted to the US Supreme Court in 2004.  She opened her law office in East Providence, Rhode Island under Kennedy Law Office, LLC, practicing in the areas of Estate Planning and Probate; Family Law; Bankruptcy; Personal Injury; DCYF matters representing parents; Landlord/Tenant; etc.  She also served as a Mediator for 8 years and Guardian Ad Litem in Family Law matters.
Deborah was then admitted to the Florida State Bar in 2017 and in the Federal Court Southern District, and thereafter incorporated Kennedy Law, PLLC, and currently has an office in downtown Vero Beach, Florida.  She focuses her practice in Estate Planning and Probate; Family Law; Contract Negotiations; and Bankruptcy.  She recently received her certification as a Florida Family Court Certified Mediator as of May 8, 2020.
